The 12 pan pressed eyeshadow palettes from ColourPop really are one of my favourite makeup products. They are small, budget friendly and the quality is consistently good.
I love eyeshadow. It is my weakness.
ColourPop has released quite a few of these 12 pan palettes now but one of the criticisms has been that there are quite a few colour similarities across the palettes SO it was refreshing to see the Good Sport palette released as the colour story is quite unique.

ColourPop Good Sport Palette
In my opinion this is a really fantastic all around palette. I love the balance of neutral and colourful shades and the balance of mattes to shimmers. I really enjoy the way this has been curated and have found that with these 12 shades I have really been able to create SO many different looks. The packaging is animal print, sturdy cardboard and doesn’t have a mirror if that matters to you.

First Row Swatches: Wild Out, Hooky, Rookie and Sista
There are five shimmer shades: a champagne (Wild Out), a bright yellow gold (Licious), a green-toned taupe (Hooked) a stunning green (EBB) and the most unique shade is a rose gold with blue micro shimmer (Rookie). These are stunning. Like creamy, pigmented… STUNNING. Applied we or with your finger these really do shine bright.

Second Row Swatches: Licious, High Hopes, Reckless and Trooper
There are seven mattes in a mixture of purples, browns, a yellow and a deep green-grey. Four of the mattes are creamy, smooth and beautiful. In comparison the remaining three shades, (Sista, Reckless and Flow) are very pigmented but feel really dry and powdery. I was worried that they would be patchy as I have had that issue with really dry mattes in the past but these did work well. I would say that you can over blend these three if you aren’t careful but I didn’t have issues with patchiness. As with all ColourPop mattes all of these shades do kick up quite a bit in the pan so if that annoys you beware, but overall, I am impressed.

Bottom Row Swatches: Hooked, Trophies, EBB and Flow
Overall, I would say that Good Sport is currently my favourite ColourPop 12 pan palette. These colours are just stunning and the combination is so unique in my collection. I am finding it hard to put this one down.

Eye look: Sista in the crease, Flow outer V and to deepen the crease, Wild Out all over the lid and inner corner, Reckless on the lower lash line blended out with Trooper.
Have a wonderful day!
