Welcome to another exciting instalment of my MR Salvation Series – 7 palettes in 7 days. Today we are shining a spotlight on the ‘Run Boy Run’ palette and I am excited because this is one of my favourites from the Salvation series.
DAY 5: Run Boy Run
I love the range of colours in the ‘Run Boy Run’ palette. It brings together all my favourites: rich chocolate browns, a brassy gold, pinks and taupes, brown matte shades, a rose gold AND a shade called ‘break out from society’ which I can only describe as the most glorious peachy-rosey-coopery shimmer colour that I have ever seen. I brought this palette for that colour. It is really unique in my collection and I love it and it is hard not to use it every time I use this palette.
Again, I’m going to break the palette in half for a close up view.
The left of the palette is more neutral but I feel like the colour selection is really nice. There are some cooler toned and warmer toned colours here and even though the tones are pale and light the pigmentation is really good – even in the matte shades!
Then when we get to the right of the palette the colours are much more vibrant and are really rich and warm. I adore all these colours. You can see my favourite peachy-roses-coppery shade in all its glory in the swatches (swatch 4). I like to put ‘Day is a phrophesy’ (yes, that is how it is spelt on the name card but I am presuming that they meant prophecy… but as it was spelt ‘phrophesy’ on the card I am going to run with it. If you know what ‘phrophesy’ means please comment below) I like to put ‘Day is a phrophesy’ (swatch 1) all over the lid and then layer ‘break out from society’ (swatch 4) on the outer corner and it looks lovely!
I adore this palette. ‘Run Boy Run’ really does take all my favourite colours and brings them together in one place.
If you are all about those warm, rich colours, this is a must have.
Have a fantastic day!!
