Makeup Revolution: Ultra Sculpt and Contour Kit – Ultra Fair and Light-Medium.

I am on a bit of a Makeup Revolution kick at the moment.

It is actually a bit ridiculous how much I have purchased from Makeup Revolution but they meet all my criteria for excellent products – cruelty-free, good quality, and SUPER budget-friendly!  When those powers combine I am powerless to resist…

Today I want to review the Ultra Sculpt and Contour kits.  There are two contour kits in this range: Ultra Fair and Ultra Light-Medium and I love them both.

These contour kits are really great quality.  The powders are soft and buttery and blend really nicely. If you were to compare the quality of these blushes to the Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palettes these feel more luxurious (even though I really enjoy the Ultra Blush Palettes too!).  Both kits contain a matte bronzer, shimmer highlighter and shimmer blush.  The copper blusher in the light-medium kit is an interesting colour for a blush but I think most people would find a use for it – I have used it with a light hand to bronze up my face a little and it was very pretty.

I find the light kit to be really great for everyday wear when I am not looking for a ‘sculpted’ look as much as some colour and warmth to my face for the work day.  The pink blush has a gorgeous gold shimmer to it which is super pretty on the skin and the creamy highlight is also extremely flattering.

The light-medium kit is my most recent acquisition and it is NICE.  The matte bronzer shade is cool-toned and a perfect colour for me to contour with.  The champagne highlighter is lush and I used it today with a very matte, peach blush and it was beautiful – so much so that my husband commented on how nice it looked!  The copper shade that is marked blusher in the light-medium kit is also lovely and an interesting addition to this kit whether used with a light hand as a bronzy-blush or, as mentioned before, to bronze up the face.  I think this kit would also work well as an eyeshadow trio but I haven’t used it that way yet.  Tomorrow 🙂

These Ultra Sculpt & Contour kits are lovely.  I would highly recommend them both and at AU$6.80 each they are a really affordable addition to your collection.  Makeup Revolution ships internationally so they are well worth a look: Ultra Sculpt and Contour Kits

Have a wonderful day!
